The mixed group of horses, goats, a sheep, and chickens became his home herd.
Pam's stallion KKoi proved to be a remarkably tolerant babysitter.
The foals also became acquainted with a second babysitter, the pregnant mare Cephie, and they learned that hay is good both for eating and for sleeping in.
Jaunty still enjoys visits from his humans,
and he is happy to get his halter on and come out with us.
He seems to enjoy his walks with Matt,
perhaps because they go where there's lots of good grass.
While they visit, Jaunty and Matt can watch Greetings and Linda in the distance.
Greetings and Jaunty met a jolly old elf (and some really funny-looking little horses) on our 2004 holiday card.
