The foals still eat in the pen, and seem to ignore the chickens.
But woe to the chicken (or foal) that gets too near Greetings' food dish.
Greetings still stands guard over her sleeping foal, but he no longer fits neatly in the corner of the stall.
She watches anxiously out the window when Linda and Jaunty go for walks. Weaning (planned for November) will upset them both.
Greetings and Linda both find that Jaunty gets underfoot sometimes.
But he knows when to turn on the charm.
Jaunty increasingly enjoys exploring when we're all out,
and playing King of the Field.
However, he's not quite ready to meet the goats without Mom.
